Personal History: The only child of a drunk merchant and runaway mother. Her father became a drunkard after her birth due to the disappointment of having a daughter and not a son. Mother ran away due to her husbands abuse and forced marriage to him. There was a boy a few years older than her that traveled with them for years. His name was Seiko. He used to always talk about a soldiers life and how much he wished to be like them. Once he was old enough he went and signed up. Sel trained hard so that she could do the same. She felt useless and had felt that way her whole life. Being a soldier gave her the chance to restore honor to her name.
RP example: Seleniax was walking next to her horse, Noir, leading him to the next town with her father asleep in the carriage. He had been drinking again and passed out a few hours ago. Seiko was walking backwards, telling her more of his glorious soldier stories. He finished soon after, turned around to walk forwards and slowed down to walk beside her. The night sky was clear and beautiful. Sel soon found herself thinking about the past and realized that Seiko was only a month away from being old enough to join the army. “Hey Seiko, your still joining the army right?” “Hell yea! Only one more month!!” “It’s gonna be different without you. I’ll have to take care of Papa alone.” “Yea, but any guys try anything with you and you’ll have them on their asses before they know what hit them.”
Sel laughed. It was true, Seiko and she were each other’s sparring partners and trained together. When it came to weapon free battles, she’d wipe the floor with him. She came close to beating him with a sword but he was always inventing new tricks and beating her. Still, it was going to be different and she only had 3 years left till she could join. Of course, she hadn’t told either her father or Seiko that plan. They’d both get upset with her, at least her father would… “Hey Seiko?” “Yea Sel?” “How would you feel if I joined the army too?” “It’s way too dangerous! Besides, what would your dad do without you? I’m gonna join and I’ll visit a lot. You would make a great blacksmith with your weaponry knowledge, or even a tradeswomen cuz your great with people!” “True, it was just a thought anyway.” “Good, leave the killing to me”
Yea, Seiko wouldn’t be happy with her either. Yet, her mind was made up, she was going to be a soldier… maybe even an assassin. She had the stealth and body for it. Sel looked over at Seiko who had his usual smile plastered to his face. He didn’t have to find out about it ever.

Aushe had forgotten that in his many years, elegance and chivalry were nearly dead. Why was it that people were so concerned with exerting their power that they couldn't at least be nice to an opponent? "Yes, typically I am always this nice. I figure it's well deserved if you care enough to battle me." Let's start off with something simple, eh?Aushe chose a spell from a random area of his mind. A loud crackling was deafningly clear as the ground close to Sky flashfroze into a sheet of frictionless ice. Another small spell caused a force to tug on her feet. Chuckling, Aushe watched as she fell over. "Your turn.."
Physical description: Jace is female, and is about 18 years old. Since she is a shape shifter and can take any form she wants, she obviously doesn't spend to much time being a plain old human. When she is, however, she has long brown hair and sort of moss coloured green eyes. Jace tends to men's clothing which hides her form, because she is shy and people don't pay as much attention to her when she looks like a man. She also pulls her hair back away from her face most of the time, because it looks better down. Jace's other forms are simple, she just looks like the animal she decides to be. She can most often be found as something that gets around easily without being noticed, like a cat, or something fast like a bird.
-Personality: Jay is a solitary kind of person, preferring to be alone or in a group of no more than three people most of the time. This is mostly because she is shy, but it's also because she finds the group often doesn't want to do the same as her and the like. Jace does what she wants to do, whether her friends come with her or not. In that way she is stubborn, but she can often be persuaded by a person who she likes or respects. Jace is a fast learner, but sometimes misses the most obvious things. She usually takes a hint, but you know how everyone has those days where they just don't get it? Jace has a lot of those.
Who do you want to be: General traveler, wandering from place to place, doing odd jobs. Ooh, and she's a shape shifter.
Why: She likes the freedom.
Personal History: Jace had five siblings and two parents when she lived in her family. She was the third, right in the middle. With her two younger siblings and two older brothers to share the two parents with, she didn't get much attention. She learned to be independent fast, and found that she didn't need her parents all that much. So she separated herself from her family a lot of the time, either visiting the town to observe the townsfolk (rarely to mingle, she was too shy for that), or going off into the wilderness for some peace and quiet. She was never very social. She wasn't well-liked in the town either. They thought it was weird the way she would come to town and just watch them. And who could blame them?
Jace had always been fascinated by magic. One of the very few friends she had was an wizard who lived just out of the town. Appreciative of Jace's interest in magic, the wizard started teaching her about it at an early age, and discovered that Jace was a quick learner. Jace learned well and soon could do quite a few spells. One day a group of traveling wizards came through the town. Intrigued by them, Jace went to see what they did. Well, one thing came to another and she seemed to impress them with her skills, so they asked her if she wanted to join them. Of course she said yes; it was everything she had ever wanted.
So then Jace was a member of a group of wandering wizards. They furthered her lessons in magic, and she decided that she wanted to be a shape shifter. Aaand so she was. She left the group to be by herself again. She found the group too restricting. And besides, those dudes were old.
RP example: from... Walt's Academy.
Tramp was up late. It was saturday night, so he could sleep in the next morning. So why not stay up? He had gotten a sudden craving for coffee, and had therefore gotten some. Now he knew that he wasn't going to sleep for at least two hours. So he had thought, why not have another? He was now on his fourth. He knew drinking too much of it could keep him up all the next day too. Caffeine did that to him. He was already feeling the caffeine getting to him, feeling more restless. No more after this, he thought to himself firmly. You're acting like a freakin' addict. The coffee shop was empty except for him and the girl at the counter, who was busying herself with cleaning the machines. She was older than him, probably a seventeen year old. They generally avoided anyone else not in their last year, even if they had been friends with younger kids before they got into the final grade. Tramp was determined not to become like that. He liked to think he open-minded, and was right for the most part. Being completely open to everyone is almost completely impossible for any person though, so he can't really be blamed. At least, not justly blamed.
Glancing out the large window he saw a dark night, with the snow reflecting the lights that shone off of the building. There was a well trodden path leading from the school to coffee shop, although no one had bothered to shovel it. There were grey clouds in the sky blocking the stars, and suggesting more snow in the near future, perhaps in the night or if not the next day. The school was a little ways off, with it's outdoor lights bright in the night. Tramp glanced down at his shoes, which had still not quite dried from the journey to the shop, and thought dejectedly of the trip back. He hated his feet getting cold or wet. Who did like that? The coffee shop would still be open for a half hour. He would stay for as long as he could. He looked around and almost sighed. If it hadn't been for the coffee making him hyper he might have been lonely. But as it was, he distracted himself with playing with a sugar packet that was on the table, wondering if he dared himself to drink it.

The Black knight was shocked at the lack of respect in the young elf. Was she trying to aggravate Aushe or him? "Do you risk the wrath of your opponent? I wouldn’t, what with the way you were the one to challenge him and all. If you are worried that I may interfere, I won’t in any way. My word as a swordsman." As he said this, he placed his gauntleted hand over his heart, emphasizing the weight of his oath.
"of course, unless you believe you are skilled enough to take on the both of us? I do not know you well enough to gauge your abilities, but if you think they are great enough, then... perhaps you would like to test your skill..."
Beneath his helmet, The Black Knight smirked. Only a fool would even be tempted to square off against me and Aushe... unless she really has the talent to back her words. But I think Aushe wants to finish this fight... Ah, I’ll leave... Bringing his fist to his helm, the black knight saluted Aushe, wrapped his cloak around himself, and slowly began to dissipate into the shadows.

She looked at him and shrugged, she had bugen to think this was a waste of her time with many interuptions. She looked at the Dragoon and rolled her eyes. She was wondering if Aushe was expecting her to follow. Looking at her finger nails boredly she she sighed and followed willingly. She was hoping for a battle but not with someone watching over it, maybe someone on her side of course but still who would know. "Do you always act this nice?"she asked him, it kind of made her want to throw up. She smirked, for she had remembered a level of magic of summoning one of her magnifecent beasts, her favorite was the Wolf Boss, or mother. But all she would have to do is bring in one of her pups. She might later she just wanted to see what he did first. Skylar only acted Rasha nd recklessly when need be, but for now she would strategize like she should. She thought of the best possible chain reactions for this battle. And last she would summon the Wolf Pup Gammachi.

The heat on the mountain, previously stifling, turned into mood weather for what Aushe hoped would be a (semi) all out battle of skill, courage, wit, and strength. The magic coursing through his veins was a rush to him, and his sword was as the viper; quick and deadly. He cracked his neck once or twice, and worked a few joints, to get the blood flowing. "I must thank you, Sir Knight, for your generosity! This should turn out to be an interesting and eventful battle!" Now Aushe turned to his opponent, and making a sweeping motion with his sword from his face to his side, bowed deeply, never lowering his eyes. "And now, my lady.....We duel!" Immediately, he clapped and, in a puff of smoke, disappeared to another area of the ring.

The black knight raised a gauntleted fist, and a deep and mysterious voice rumbled out of the black helm atop the figure's head. "Why do you seek to battle here? This is the sacred Realm of the black knight. I do not appreciate uninvited guests."
With another wave of his hand, the volcano calmed to its normal state. "This volcano is under my control, and it was warning you to leave. However, since you didn't, I have arrived. Little did I know that it was Aushe who was tresspassing...You say you are dueling?"
the black knight sighed and shook his head. "Oh, and Elf maiden, Don't even think of using a transport spell, the wards from the inside of this volcano will sap every last bit of energy from your body and turn you to nothing more than ashes." taking a step closer to Aushe and the elf maiden, he laughed quietly to himself. that girl has no idea of what she could have gotten herself into... heh... Aushe.. never one to turn down a challenge.
"I am surprised that the Dragoons haven't appeared yet... what with the Flaming lance being so nosy and all..." Another rumble of laughter emanated from the tower of black armor. "Well, continue the duel! I enjoy such sport... Especially between such powerful beings..."
Drawing his pallid blade, he flourished it, and a beam of energy erupted from the tip, hitting Aushe's stone bridge and turning it into a solid floor that covered the entire crater, with many rocks and other hiding places. Sheathing his sword, the black knight nodded. "I will adjudicate this, if you wish... but either way, continue."

Sighing she looked at Aushe"Run away...This place is going to be oozing lava any minute now."She looked at the knight and a bit bumed out. "There's no way im dieing here."she said looking around and thinking of a way out. She looked at the ice mirrors and made them absorb into the ground. Looking around again she tried to remember the spell that allowed you to warp."I do have a Teleporting spell...but its a long cast and well it would go to my destination.."she said looking at him."And theres no way im touching you...So what do you advise we do.?"she asked looking at the knight. She was very good at escaping, and she didnt know why she had to wait for him, she could always cast blink, and in a blink of an eye disappear. But that took alot of physical energy out of her.

Aushe was running over spells in his mind. Suddenly, he had no more need of spells....for the present. "Um, well, you know, I hate to be a bother, but... I think the volcano is erupting! And those mirrors are going to be hard to move, so... do you get what I'm saying?" Aushe began to back away as the first crack in the rock appeared. Turning, Aushe was displeased to find out the the Black Knight was blocking his path. "Well, this is certainly a predicament! What say you, sir knight that we not fight here, as I am in the middle of a duel, and this volcano is about to erupt?" There was no verbal answer from the knight, but he did make a gesture with his hand that dissipated both his and Sky's shields. "Oh, bugger," Aushe said, still managing to maintain his humor. "Well then Miss Sky, what do you propose we do?"

She smirked "Not a problem for me"she said as glowing green light appeared from her hand as she rubbed her shoulder. "I guess your looking for some real fun huh?"she smirked and lifted one of her hands to the sky and murmuring again as a bolt of lightening shot from the sky and sending electricity through the ground, directed at Aushe. Smirking again she murmured words again as Ice Mirrors denser and harder than the stone formed around her, in the meantime she cast a spell causing Ice Spikes to shot from any part of the mirror to any movement outside the circle she was in. "Not even fire can melt these mirrors."she smirked she had underestimated him, but she would win and if she didnt she would practice until the next time they met. Crimson eyes followed him, her blue magic skills had kicked in and she had copied his spell into her memory. " Your pretty good..."she said, but then again she was the better mage, but refused to use any higher level magic on him. She was waiting for his attack.

Aushe smirked. He hadn't just brought the book to study from. "Here, study!" Aushe said, and threw it straight towards the rocks encompassing Sky. In an explosion, two of the rocks shattered, leaving the other three to pick up the pace and making the gaps a little wider. "Oh, so sorry, I must have bought the one time use spell book!" Drawing his sword, he aimed the tip at the left side of Sky. With one flicking motion, the rocks currently on that side changed direction and smashed into the others, leaving one pathetic rock to float uselessly around her. "Ziagh!" Aushe hissed. A bolt of electricity shot from the tip of his sword and hit Sky right in the shoulder, knocking her off balance. "How about that?"

She chuckeled and looked at him as he cast a spell on her."This is the difference between you and me..But if you dont want me hurt here, you should've said something."she smirked and started murmuring words quickly under her breath. Quickly finishing the spell stones emerged from the ground and encircled her moving in a fast motion around her."I'll go easy on you...with your level of spells..Since like it is just a petty duel right?" She smirked, His physical attacks would have a hard time getting through the rocks, but with his strength and sword it should take very long. But then again her stoneskin as she called it was going in a fast motion making it harder for him to enter. "Well I hope you strategize well."she smiled and looked at him waiting for his next spell and or attack. She thought his weak points were behind the knee, on the neck and his shoulders.

"I'm notorious for accepting duels," Aushe said with a grin. It wasn't in his nature to be rude, even to an opponent. He feared for her, because if she had the intent of killing him, as was wont of the Empire's employs, he would have to act defensively with attacks meant to kill. That was not the fate he proposed for her. Not here anyway. Better to die in a war battle with honor than a petty duel. Picking up his sword, he got in the ready position, but with his weapon on his belt, and his book in hand. For good measure, he cast a warding spell on both him and Skylar. Or he would have had the spell been dissipated before reaching her. "Please, allow me to shield you from any attack that may cause permanent damage! This is but a duel!" Aushe pleaded. He began then going over a list of spells and physical attacks that could be dealt within a few seconds of each other. Chaining was going to be important, he could tell. Also, another thought occurred. What if that legendary "knight in black" showed up?

The late as usual, Sky walked into vision of Aushe and smirked, looking at his petty book of spells she walked closer. Her weapon of choice was clinging to her side, Although she hoped she wouldnt have to use it. Looking at him she shook her head,"Surprisingly you accepted, I applaud you for that."she said claping her hands twice. She focused her eyes on his sword seeing the metal that was fused into it. She hadnt need to be in close combat most of the time but she had practiced just in case. She looked from his sword to him and layed her hands on her hips, examining his armor for weak points.

Aushe waited atop the volcano, awaiting his competition. He had summoned a rock bridge spanning the crater where the battle was to take place. For a dormant volcano, the air up there was very stifling and hot, and even the cooled magma was foreboding. The sky was a dark gray, a storm was brewing, but didn't seem as though it would strike at any time during the battle. The challenge had taken him by surprise. Skylar, the infamous dark mage, had sent a letter to him in the last week, formally requesting a duel. Aushe, known for never refusing a battle, sent an equally formal letter back, accepting the challenge. So here Aushe waited, his sword stuck in the ground in front of him while he donned his armor. A magic book was also at his side, he had been studying that for dueling spells. Suddenly, he was aware of a presence...

She-Elf « Result #20 on Mar 25, 2007, 3:13pm »
Name:Skylar
-Nickname:Most preferable Sky
General description:Going from top to bottom she has short light purple hair, That almost reaches to her chin. Her crimson colored eyes, show no white, just crimson, and the simple lines of black outlining the middle of her eye. She stands 5 foot 1 inches, and has a petite like a flower. She has a somewhat palish cream skin tone. She is a female of course and she is 36 years old.
-Personality:She is kind only to animals, well Malicious ones anyway. She can be very loyal when she puts her mind to it and is under the right dictatorship. Sometimes her appearance can fool you, with her kind features but she really isn't, she seeks respect and gives none unless its received, of course if she's threatened by a higher ranking officer.
Who's do you want to be: General of all Mages
Why: She has not just one ability from the mages such as White and Black and Blue consisting of different elements, she can use them all. Black from the earth specializing with rock, and enfeebling. White consisting of healing and divine. Blue mage can copy the spell of an enemy and use it as her own. With experience she became well known for knowing alot of spells and using them in correct situations.
Personal History: She grew up living outside the city with her parents, whom hated the Dark Queen. But she had yet to figure out why, since she never really liked her parents. Learning to be a mage from a traveling merchant. When she was 10 years old she could use higher lever of magic than her teacher, so when she was 15 she left her parents house and began to search for higher levels of difficulty on magic. She had yet to find the problem with the Dark Queen, but she was always a evil child, and many kids were scared of her because of the evil glare in her eyes. Once she had addressed her loyalty to the Dark Queen and working within her army, many were quite surprised that she was so young and able to control White and Black magic. After a while she was raised to higher ranks after ransacking villages, showing no mercy. After that her magery was well known and she was also learning Blue magic as well, copying any spells she could in combat. She was merciless, coming to the general position of the mages around her.
RP example: Sky walked away from he small building with a bag in her hand as she walked down the street toward her home. Looking around the streets she sighed. It had been awhile since she had been around these areas. She had been thinking about her parents lately, but she had, had enough scolding from them. They had always asked her why she was loyal to the Dark Queen, and she had always wondered why they didn't. She shook her head to rid the thoughts from her head as she continued to walk down the street before stopping to open a door and step inside locking it behind her.
Taking the drink out of the bag she opened it and gulped it quickly before setting it down and sitting down.Reviewing over some battle plans, she sighed and looked around her, quite and alone she skillfully heated up some food with moving herself from her chair. Taking a bite from the meal she had just prepared she continued to go over the battle plans and placing different squadrons onto the table. A knock on the door had stopped her from continuing with her plans, she rolled up her plans and put them in the desk before standing up to answer the door. Puzzled and bewildered she readied herself.
Opening the door she saw no one there and closed it and sitting down on the bed closest to the door waiting for them to knock again. Hearing it agains he quickly leapt up and opened it watching some rotten children sinking into the bushes. Smiling she looked around."I wonder who that could be, knocking twice and no ones there, Perhaps it the children hiding away in the bushes. She heard gasps and smirked and pulled them out of the bushes."I've never liked this part of town..I cant wait to go back to my usual home, But unless you want to keep your lives. I suggest you go home and leave me alone." She hissed and set the kids down watching them run off before sitting down again, and finding something to occupy herself. Closing her eyes and laying down on the bed, she fell asleep.

Atlantace remained silent, knowing full well that Aushe was conversing with the wyvern that was flying around above the establishment. He grumbled while taking another sip from his flask. no sooner than Aushe was finished, Atlantace curled his hand into a fist.
"I dont like this.. I know we need the people, but the wyverns and the dragoons' rivalry is more bitter than the one between the seafarers and the dragoons. and that is a bitter rivalry. I dont trust these flying rats any further than I can throw this town, which isnt in my range of ablilities." Shaking his head, Atlantace sighed. "but, Every body under our cause is worth it, as we need to remove the queen, before she really gets out of hand."

Aushe was aware that Atlantace knew his secret, but said nothing about it. "No, I don't, thank you. Well, yes I do need their help and I am aware of their... checkered past, but we need someone to play the same way as the queen, to make her nervous. Also, we need all the help we can get. Most people hate the queen, but are too afraid to join us. We are still the minority!" Aushe rubbed his temples. He knew the status of the movement. If he could not get competant people over to villages and towns to inspire nationalism, the entire organization could fail. But no, that wouldn't happen. He could do it. But how to get the support of the wyvern riders. He tried to contact the one outside with his mind. Can you hear me? Do not be alarmed, I just wish to talk... Who are you? I am the leader of the PFW, Aushe. I see, I hope I did not alarm you outside... Did I? Heh, just a bit but thank you for the reassurance! Why were you there? I would like to help you. My name is Gouretieo. I speak on behalf of a legion that I command. Not only would this be a righteous thing to do, but it would also help our name. We have done some wrong deeds in the past...not me or my legion...but the others do things. Some of them work for the queen, others are neutral. But my legion and I are committed to your cause. Can we join you? Yes, of course! The PFW is having a meeting tomorrow, show up without your wyvern if possible, as not to cause fear. I will introduce you and your legion. After that you can fly freely. I understand, thank you. No, thank you, we need all the help we can get.

Atlantace took off his helm and set it on the table before them. "I am not fully sure, but i think it was a wyvern... one of the wayward ones. Are they really bold enough to attack or plunder around here? either that or they are trying to gain somebody's attention..." Sighing, he shook his long olive green hair out of his eyes. "I know that you are seeking their help, but some of them are worse than the members of the Seafarers Unanimous... Many of them actually..." taking another swig from the flask that Aushe had given him, he smiled. "A true lifesaver you are... this stuff is definately what i needed to boost my condition. I'd offer some, but you dont need it, am I right?"

[1. Name:] Atlantace
[-Nickname] Aushe calls Him A.T, but there aren’t any others who know him well enough. By the ones who fear him, “The Winged Shadow”. By those he leads, “The Flaming Lance”
[2. General description] Atlantace is a tall man, with long, olive green hair, silvered with age. His eyes are dark green and often sparkle with mirth. He is usually seen carrying his flame lance; a beautiful weapon, cunningly crafted by the cooperation of Elves, Dwarves, and Dragons. Outside of a formal occasion, he wears his Black armor, made of lightweight but extremely durable dragon hide. Along with the armor, he wears a floor length cloak that can blend into the shadows, distorting the light so he can’t be seen unless you look really hard and know what you are looking for.
[-Personality] Atlantace holds himself in a high manner when meeting new people, but other than that, he is very relaxed and casual. When a friend or ally is in danger, Atlantace will usually try to rescue that person, no matter the personal risk. A practical joker when at ease, he has pulled many pranks, even on Aushe and the Dark Queen! He may seem like an unfit leader, but when the situation calls for it, Atlantace commands with an Iron fist and a cunning of steel. He rarely makes the first move, unless his battle was a planned sneak attack.
[3. What do you want to be?] Leader of the Dragoon Legion
[4. Why?] Well, Seeing as Atlantace has Dragon Hide armor and has been around for more than 300 years, it shows that he has the experience. It all started out one day, when he found a dragon hatchling, half dead, in a strange forest. Nurturing it back to health, he befriended it, and was saddened to wake up one morning to find the little guy gone. A few years later, Atlantace got himself into a dreadful scrape, and had no way to call for help. We won’t go into the details, as it was quite embarrassing… But he only escaped by jumping off a tower and landing unexpectedly on the back of a dragon, the same one he had found and nurtured from its youth.
[5. Personal History] Atlantace was born before the Queen came into power, which was about 310 years ago. Always getting into trouble as a youth, he learned to wield a staff at an early age. When he was sixteen, his village was destroyed by the combined efforts of a drought, a roving band of thieves, disease, and the queen’s soldiers, which all came one after the other. He escaped, as he had been on a trade run when the queen attacked. He came back to his village, only to find a heap of ruined huts, still smoking. There were no other survivors, and the loss nearly killed Atlantace. (not fully done...)
[6. RP example] Atlantace spun his staff threateningly as the hobgoblin approached. The foul Creature was leering, a wickedly sharp and curvy dagger in its right hand. The Hobgoblin spat something in its native tongue, an obscenity that Atlantace knew well, and then switched to a very fractured basic. “If ya’ don’ give me what ya’ stole then I’ll kill ya’, runtling.”
Atlantace smiled, welcoming the open challenge. This was the leader of the hobgoblin band that had followed him all the way from Iythos to his current location, the outskirts of the Detroli forest, and had ambushed him at an old outpost that currently was under the Hobgoblin band’s control. He had a compatriot with him, a good friend from the PFW, posing as an Iythian Mercenary. During the original fighting, the poor man had fallen, not vainly however, as he had helped cut down about thirty of the fiends before sustaining the fatal blow from the chieftain. Immediately after, Atlantace had turned his attention on the Chief, the one he was fighting currently. He wasn’t planning on bothering about the others, as he knew that if he could beat the chief, he’d be able to scare them away.
Surprisingly, the other Hobgoblins didn’t interfere, but that was probably because they had been ordered not to. That was a bonus, as the fight was hard enough as it was. The object that the hobgoblins were after was safely tucked away in Atlantace’s pouch, but none of them knew about it, and Atlantace’s smile became a smirk as he thought about it. Aushe wont be happy about Sergei, but he’ll be happy about my discovery…I think…
Atlantace waited for his opponent to make a move, and a move it made. The hobgoblin chieftain sprang forward, planning on digging his dagger into the unprotected neck of Atlantace, but the blow never connected, as Atlantace spun his staff and brought it down on the Chieftain’s head so hard that it shattered both his enemy’s helm and the staff. “Damn it… my best staff…” Looking at the now shattered and ragged end of his staff, he realized that his enemy was still alive, dazed, but alive. Sighing heavily, Atlantace shifted his grip so the pointed end of the staff was facing downward, and with all his might, Stabbed it through the abdomen of his foe, killing the Chieftain freaking out the other hobgoblins, who began to edge away, then run away as Atlantace glared at them. Sighing, Atlantace straightened his jerkin, picked up the Hobgoblin Chieftain’s dagger, he looked it over. The knife was surprisingly balanced, so he kept it. It’ll be better than nothing… Looking over his shoulder one last time, he sighed. The only way he could go was deeper into the forest.

Aushe, aware that Atlantace knew something was amiss, just said, "yes, let's," and they continued down the cobblestone road to the Mynock's Ear. Instead of walking in as they had planned, they nearly flew in due to a dreadful gust of wind. Picking the table nearest to the fire (it wasn't very crowded that evening) they sat and took off their over garments. "So then," Aushe wispered, "what was it that you saw friend?"

Atlantace smiled, popping the top of the flask off and taking a long swig. Wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve, he bowed to Aushe with a flourish of his cape. “Thank you, brother. Another week without that and I’d be bedridden, possibly paralyzed.” Sighing, Atlantace looked around. “So... We should get out of this weather… you have any safe-houses around here?” Thank the gods… that mithril stayed home tonight… A particularly nasty flash of lightning revealed an ominous shape in the sky. Instantly, Atlantace nudged Aushe. “There’s something up there… I have a bad feeling that it’s something that is watching us… We should head to the Mynock’s Ear… a bit safer to talk… ya know?” As he said so, he spun his lance nervously. That shape looked too much like a wyvern…

Arikos Lispor (in progress) « Result #30 on Jan 10, 2007, 7:31pm »
Name: Arikos Lispor Nickname: Ari (See Alternate Profile)
General description: Dark elf! Yay! Arikos had short violet hair that is layered to give it a feathered appearance. Her hair extends to just below her neck in the back and two strands on either side of her face go a bit farther. Her eyes are sea-green and just as deep. Arikos' skin tone is average, but tends to lay on the pale side. She wears black dragon armor with a crimson cape, but she never wears a helmet.
Personality: Cold and formidable, but easily confused when shown affection or some kind of "nice emotion".
What do you want to be?: *shrugs* Somebody that works for the Dark Queen.
Why?: Because she told me to. As for evidence, you can ask you her yourself, but don't come crying to me if she punishes you for questioning her.
Personal History: Arikos was born in Detroli Village. She was always out of place because of her Dark Elf heritage. Her mother had sought sanctuary in the forest of the elves and they allowed her to pass while stopping her pursuers in their path. She died soon after giving birth to Arikos. Arikos was taken in by the Village Head and grew up knowing very well that she was different. It was not easy because of the prejudice of the children as she grew, and then later, the adults. Eventually she left her hometown and vowed not to go back unless she had made something of herself. The Dark Queen's offer was just too good to turn down.
RP Sample:
((Yup. Pathetically short... But I didn't have much to go on. Normally my background would be five pages long. But I do have another profile under "Ari" so it's technically part of Arikos'.))
